Meet Dr. Christina M. Rostant
Dr. Rostant grew up in the Caribbean island nation of Trinidad and Tobago. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida; her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University ; and her degree in Dental Science from the University of Florida.
As a resident at UF, Dr. Rostant participated in research projects, completed her thesis on implant disease risk assessments and presented at the Florida Academy of Periodontology meeting her in Orlando. She received an award for her outstanding participation in the advanced education program for her research.
Dr. Rostant is passionate about teaching and educating her patients about their oral health and is excited to continue advancing her knowledge through continuing education, joining local study clubs, and presenting and learning from teaching cases between professional colleagues.
She brings a love for her community and warmth from the islands. While not caring for her patients, Dr. Rostant enjoys painting, cooking and “liming” with family and friends. Outside of the clinic you can find Dr. Rostant (and probably her cat Mouse) on hikes, at the local farmers markets and gardening.
