Dr. Richard Chace, Jr.

Dr. Richard Chace, Jr is a fourth generation dentist. His great grandfather was founder and first president of the Florida Dental Association and his father was the first dentist in Florida to specialize in periodontics, in 1945.

After attending undergraduate school at the University of Florida, dental school at the University of Kentucky, and post-graduate school at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Chace joined his father in practice in 1972. For five years he taught in the graduate periodontal department at the University of Pennsylvania, and he continues to lecture extensively throughout the country. In 1978 he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.

He is a Fellow in the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He is Past President of the Dental Society of Greater Orlando, the Florida Society of Periodontics, and a former Board Member of the American Academy of Periodontology. He was appointed to the Florida Board of Dentistry from 1983 - 1986, during which time he served as Chairman.

Outside the office, Rick spends most of his free time playing golf and tennis. He has won numerous national titles in Senior Open competition, and has represented the United States in several international events. He has recently taken up golf, which he plays to a 5 handicap.
Drs. Horvat, and Cohen are Periodontists in Winter Park, Florida who serve patients from Winter Park, Orlando, Maitland, and Altamonte Springs as well as the surrounding areas.
